Diabetes Society Camp registration opened March 1

The Diabetes Society has received many calls and emails asking about our 2010 camp programs- great news, camp season is here! As you may have heard, the Diabetes Society has been undergoing a fiscal restructuring, so we've had to reevaluate our camp programs. This year we won’t be offering all of the camps we’ve offered in previous years, but we’re happy to announce that we’ll still be offering a great variety of educational and fun camping programs for kids, teens, and families living with type 1 diabetes.

Camp registration opened March 1, 2010. Check the different Diabetes Camp sections of this site to learn more about camp dates, fees, age ranges, and to read camp descriptions, as well as to download the registration form. Read below for registration information.

Registering for 2010 Diabetes Society Educational Camps:

After reviewing our camp information and making your camp selection, download a registration form. Fill it out, and send it to the Diabetes Society with the non-refundable $50 registration fee. We can accept camp registration forms and fees by:

      Fax… 408-207-0162

      email… camp@diabetessociety.org

or mail… Diabetes Society Camp Department, 1165 Lincoln Ave, Suite 300, San Jose, CA 95125

We do not accept registrations over the phone.

Camp registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. If you attempt to register your child for a camp that is full, your child will be placed on a waiting list, and we will notify you if space becomes available.

Once we receive your registration form and $50 non-refundable registration fee, we will contact you to confirm with you which camps you are registered for, and will follow up by sending you application materials.

Camp payment in full at the time of registration qualifies you for a 5% discount!

Registrations are required each year. If your child was on a camp waiting list for a previous year's camp, this does not mean they automatically have a spot this year. There is no preferential placement for campers who were on waiting lists in previous years, or campers who have attended Diabetes Society Camps before.
