17th Annual Diabetes Society Golf Classic

Take a swing for the Diabetes Society! The Annual Golf Classic is an fundraiser that helps support the programs and services of the Diabetes Society. Entry fees include a round of golf with carts, lunch, refreshments, and a wonderful cocktail reception. Additional fun includes an auction, raffle and awards.
The 17th Annual Golf Classic will be held at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club. Located just south of Silicon Valley, Cinnabar Hills successfully blends 27 holes of championship-caliber golf with spectacular views. Perfectly crafted by John Harbottle III to appeal to all skill levels, the course winds through the hills and around natural creeks and lakes.
Registration opens at 9:30am. Shotgun start, scramble format will follow at 12pm. A cocktail reception with great food, auction, raffle and prizes will follow the tournament. The individual entry fee is $150; price for a foursome is $500.
Corporations and individuals are encouraged to support the Diabetes Society by becoming a sponsor of this very fun and worthy event. Many sponsorship levels are available offering unique packages loaded with benefits. Sponsorships begin at only $1,500.
The Diabetes Society provides a one-stop shop for diabetes education and support. Registered nurses, registered dietitians, and certified diabetes educators provide information about medications, supplies, and blood glucose management. The Diabetes Society serves 20,000 people annually.

Why
The Diabetes Society has one of the most diversified camping programs in the country, serving family members living with diabetes throughout California in a total of 16 different camping programs. The Diabetes Society has held resident camp since 1974 for children with diabetes. The program includes a selection of youth and teen resident camp programs, along with family and day camps.
The Diabetes Society provides a one-stop shop for diabetes education and support. Services include a Diabetes Self-Management Training program, diabetes screenings, camps for youth and families, and professional education for health care professionals. Registered nurses, registered dietitians and certified diabetes educators provide information about medications, supplies, and blood glucose management. We serve 20,000 people annually with most of the funding from individuals, service clubs, corporations, and foundations. The Diabetes Society is an independent organization with no regional, state, or national affiliations.
