- CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN before you start, especially if you have problems with your heart or your feet.
- Eat a snack if your blood sugar is below 100 before exercise.
- Carry fast-acting sugar and a snack with you.
- Start slowly and choose an activity you ENJOY!
- Goal should be 30 to 60 minutes of increased activity on most days of the week.
