Corporate Partnerships

A partnership between your corporation or foundation and the Diabetes Society can further your organization's charitable mission by funding critical, cost-effective diabetes support and education services as well as its nationally renowned camp program for children with diabetes and their families. This support provides local, regional and national exposure for your organization. Our staff will work with you to customize your participation according to your needs.

Recognition for your organization will include the following:

Article about your company/foundation in the Diabetes Society quarterly newsletter, Diabetes Dialogue, distributed to almost 4,000 recipients.
Logo and name listed on Diabetes Society website.
Listed in the Diabetes annual report.
Acknowledged in applicable collateral and handouts at all community outreach, events and programs.
Invitation to special events.

What's New

Camps Filling Up Fast!

Registration for 2010 summer camps opened this month and some programs are filling up very fast or are already full. The Lake Tahoe Weekend Family Camp and San Jose Day Camp and Camp De Los Ninos are now full. We are happy to say that there are still openings at Teen Camp DJ, Johnson Youth Camp, and other camps. We look forward to receiving your registration forms soon!

We are now adding names to the waiting lists for full programs: due to last-minute cancellations, we are often able to add campers from the waiting lists.

(In order to add you to a camp waiting list, please fill out and send your 2010 registration form. No registration fee is required if you are only submitting your form to be added to a waiting list.)

Diabetes Society Camp registration opened March 1

The Diabetes Society has received many calls and emails asking about our 2010 camp programs- great news, camp season is here! As you may have heard, the Diabetes Society has been undergoing a fiscal restructuring, so we've had to reevaluate our camp programs. This year we won’t be offering all of the camps we’ve offered in previous years, but we’re happy to announce that we’ll still be offering a great variety of educational and fun camping programs for kids, teens, and families living with type 1 diabetes.

Camp Kaiser

The Diabetes Society in partnership with Kaiser Permanente Hospital is sponsoring Camp Kaiser for teens 10 to 17. Campers must be members of Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento.
